Game in Progress

cikk, szerző: sodi

In the current joint project of Mary’s Route Public Benefit Association and the Municipality of Palást, the cooperating partners are working on the implementation of an innovative game.

As mentioned earlier, the development to be implemented will result in a game that can be played on the web as well as on mobile phone, which has already been named by the partners. It is called SmartZ.

The name SmartZ comes from an English word that means “smartness” in a rough translation.

Anyone who may have mastered the basics of English may not even notice the little pun that the partners hid in the name of the game. In English, the plural letter ‘S’ has been replaced by the letter ‘Z’, referring to a project that has already been completed, since the Municipality of Palást and Mary’s Route Public Benefit Association collect natural values on a route already surveyed in a previously successful project and contact the custodians of these values.

With the development of the application, many additional results are expected, as the natural values to be surveyed and recorded on the given route, and through the collaborations with their maintainers, the expanding body of knowledge will make the application more interesting and colorful.

However, the first and perhaps most important goal is to give children, the next generation, not just figuratively a tool that will help them recognize the beauty of the nature around them, to learn to live in it and to live with it, and to learn how to protect it.

But of course, the older age group can also find useful information, as we all know the saying that it is never too late to learn.

The cooperation between the Municipality of Palást and Mary’s Route Public Benefit Association takes place within the framework of the Interreg V-A Slovakia-Hungary Cooperation Program project SKHU / WETA / 1901 / 4.1 / 229, Green Innovative Users’ Guide - Our Common Natural Values.
